Privacy
For parents. Last updated October 2026.
The short version
We keep as little as we can: an email address to sign in, and which quiz answers were right or wrong. No ads, no third-party tracking, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.
Children
SG Study Buddy is for primary-school children. Please create the account yourself, as the parent or guardian, and let your child use it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we store
- Your sign-in: email address, and a password stored only as a secure hash, or your Google account's email and name if you sign in with Google.
- Quizzes: the questions we made for you and whether each answer was right, so we can show progress and limit quizzes to one a day.
- Daily counts: how many quizzes were played and worksheets downloaded today, so the daily limits work.
- Visit counts: which pages were opened and what was done (a download, a quiz started or finished), counted by us, not by an analytics company. We keep a scrambled version of your internet address, never the address itself.
- Question reports: if you report a question, what you wrote about it.
- Cookies: only the ones needed to keep you signed in, plus a random id for visitors who are not signed in and one for the current visit. No advertising or third-party cookies.
Downloading a free paper needs no account. We count downloads, and link them to your account only if you are signed in.
Who else handles it
- Supabase stores accounts, quizzes and papers, in Singapore.
- AI services (outside Singapore) write the quiz questions. They receive only the school level and topic, never your name or email.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Resend delivers question reports to our team by email. It receives the question and what you wrote, never your email address.
Seeing or deleting your data
We keep your data while the account exists. To see what we hold, correct it, or delete the account and everything linked to it, email us from the address on the account. We reply within 30 days, as Singapore's PDPA requires.
